About LLTLC 2025 - "Show us the How!"
Come and "Show us the How" on May 19th and 20th on the campus of UIUC! Join educators, learning support specialists, and administrators to share first-hand practical applications that work and are focused on the following themes:
- Applied Innovations in Teaching and Learning
- Designing for Student Engagement and Accessibility
- Supporting Student Learning
- Enhancing Teaching and Learning with AI
- Emerging Issues in Higher Education
This year's conference will provide practical applications that can work for us in our classrooms, online programs, and leadership and support roles. Expect real-world reports, authentic examples, fresh strategies, new toolkits, and flexible templates that can be shared, adapted, and translated to other campuses, courses, and contexts.
You'll experience demos, hands-on tutorials, walk-throughs, sample assignments, programs, procedures, resources, and early results. You'll hear about messy, brave, quirky efforts that are still being refined. Join us for this journey of exploration and innovation!
Session Formats

| Presentations | 50 Min | Presentation and description of topics, applications and examples. 40 minutes of presentation and 10 minutes of Q&A. |
| Workshops | 50 Min | Participants will receive guidance and hands-on practice with an application or technique. |
| Roundtable/ Table-Top |
50 Min | Demonstration and interactive small-group discussion on a topic or application. |
| Lightning Talks | 5 Min | Quick summary or overview of a topic, idea, research, or application. |
